BestMalz BEST Red X® Malt

Description

BEST Red X® is a base malt that has become synonymous with red and red-tinted beers, amber colored beers, red tinted wheat beers, red tinted Alt beers, Red Ales, and dark beers with a red tinge amongst others. Even in small amounts, BEST Red X® will contribute a rich malty Munich-like complexity.

It can be used as 100% of the grain bill. It was designed for a 12°P beer and to retain the red color in stronger beers, some Pilsen Malt should be added to the grain bill due to the higher wort gravity. BEST Red X® complies with the purity guidelines of the German Reinheitsgebot.
