Duotight 1/4″ flared fittings are perfect for flared gas/beverage ball and pin lock disconnects. It can also be used to connect gas line(s) to the flare fitting found on the KOMOS® CO2 Regulator as shown in the example above.
This Duotight fitting does not require a separate flare washer.
Duotight fittings are high-quality, clamp-free, push-in fittings that seal tight and offer superior sealing capacity due to the double O-ring sealing design.
Duotight fittings are compatible with EVABarrier 8mm O.D. tubing and has superior sealing performance. Duotight uses not one, but two high-quality EPDM O-rings, which is literally twice the sealing surface when compared with other push-in fittings. They are more reliable and the o-rings significantly reduce the chances of leaks. Having a double O-ring system also means that tubing can be bent at a much tighter radius without causing leaks, which can be an issue with other fittings. Duotight fittings are the most reliable push-in fittings on the market.
A note on EPDM: EPDM offers excellent chemical resistance for a longer life span. When compared with silicone and vinyl, EPDM has much better gas transmission rates, better wear resistance, and is BPA-free.
Use: It is recommend to cut the tubing straight and not on an angle to ensure a complete seal. To remove the fitting simply push and hold the collet in/down and pull the tubing out.
