This in-line air filter is an insurance policy when attaching it to your oxygenation or aeration system such as an air pump, O2 tank and stainless diffusion stone. It will filter our any contaminants out of oxygen or air.
It can also be used to filter out any potential contaminants into a kegging setup from a C02 tank.
Both 1/4″” and 3/8″” tubing will attach to it, and it will snugly fit in any standard stopper as well.
Note: There are two sides to the filter; an “in” and an “out”. The direction used doesn’t matter; however, be sure to make note of which way it’s set up to first push air through it and always keep it that way. There is an arrow on the edge of the filter housing that is designed to be used to keep the airflow going one direction when using it. Do not get the filter wet! Do not soak in sanitizer! A very light sanitizer spray may be used. Store the filter in a zip-lock bag. It can last up to 1 year but discard if there are any signs of discoloration.
This filter qualifies as a HEPA filter under US government standards.
