England’s own Lyle’s Golden Syrup is liquid inverted sugar. It is pale golden in color and has a rich, warm, but mellow sweetness. It’s used in a wide range of baked desserts and as a topping.

In the beer brewing world, it’s especially used in English and Belgian ales.

With a Lovibond of zero, it has no impact on overall color. It will increase the alcohol with a very subtle effect on flavor.

Usage: 1/2 lb to 1 lb per 5 gallons of beer or to recipe.
