Simcoe (US) 2oz Whole Hops – Artisan

In the past decade Simcoe® hops have become somewhat of a darling in both craft and home brewing. True dual purpose application lets Simcoe® offer a well rounded addition to just about any recipe. Smooth bitterness is met with aromas of earth, citrus (grapefruit), and cannabis. Try it in IPAs, Wheats, Saisons, and Amber Ales.

Whole cone hops are typically the preffered format for dry hopping as they maintain contact with the beer by floating, they are easier to remove than pellets and they add a unique character to the beer. Adding whole cone hops directly to the mash tun is also a great way to add flavor and clarify your wort.
