Carafa Special Type III is made from the finest German quality brewing barley. De-husked and gently roasted, the CARAFA® series of malts is characterized by its high color intensity and unique roasting aromas.
Up to 5% usages for special brew malt for all dark beer styles such as:
- Porters: American Porter
- Stouts: Irish Extra Stout, Foreign Extra Stout, Imperial Stout, Russian Imperial Stout
- Altbiers
